Helping Make Workplaces Healthier in the New Year
Welcoming 2021
[Helping Make Workplaces Healthier in the New Year]

Wherever you fall politically, this week hits home that all of us are starting a new chapter with this new year. I hope you and your family had a wonderful holiday and will have a happy and healthy 2021.

As we head into the new year, I send gratitude to Officer Dan Nord of the Chesterfield County Police Department, who created this Veteran LED art for me as a Christmas gift.

What’s remarkable is that he made it while recovering from a leg amputation after being injured on duty. Thank you for such a special memory, sir, and thank you for your service!

Projects in the Works

Thank you to the team behind Common House Richmond, a social club, restaurant, event and co-working space (pictured above) that opened in the Richmond Arts District this fall.

Veteran LED has been working to improve the air quality and create a healthier environment in the venue by installing our wall-mounted air purifiers and germicidal UV-C lighting inside the duct systems.

We also thank the hardworking people at the Northern Neck - Middlesex Free Health Clinic, where we installed our germicidal air purifiers.

You can explore some of the solutions we provide here to help you in the fight against COVID-19, a time when indoor air quality is becoming more vital. Or give us a call or email — we’re happy to answer your questions.

Veteran LED News
+ Veteran LED is proud to join the Resource Innovation Institute and its Technical Advisory Council as a Controls Working Group Member. This affiliation allows us to tap into best industry practices to serve indoor grow facilities, providing energy management and conservation.

It also gives us the Cannabis PowerScore benchmarking platform, which “analyzes facility-level performance on energy, water and waste” and allows customers to compare performance against similar peers:

“Using PowerScore, cultivators and their supply chain partners assess differences between HVAC and lighting technologies designed for cannabis cultivation. Data analysis can provide insights into efficiencies of different cultivation methods and climate conditions.”

+ Chief Energy Officer Chris Rawlings recently became a Certified LEED Green Associate. With this new certification, we can more effectively support our clients working in new construction and green building design.
